Each year, the Rocky Mountain Catalysis Society (RMCS) hosts competitions at the annual symposium that showcase cutting-edge work from graduate students. The presentations are judged by a panel of senior scientists and faculty from top institutions, using criteria that include scientific originality, technical rigor, impact, and clarity of presentation. Awards, which include a plaque and honorarium, are designated to the top oral and poster presentations. An RMCS award reflects a high level of distinction and promise for future leaders in the field of catalysis.
